- Companies that track and control people’s attention become the next big technology companies (Google, Meta)
- AI re-enters the fray as the mechanism by which content/ads are recommended to people across technology platforms. It also can translate and navigate.
- OpenAI launches ChatGPT, a Large Language Model (LLM) that shocks the public conscience
- Microsoft announces a partnership with OpenAI to enhance Bing
OK so why the history lesson?
Computing has always been an arms race. It was used to fight wars/ win battles in the political sphere as well as the economic sphere.
Today is no different. We’re living at a time where so much of our content is recommended to us by AI…
